The Queen of Mandalore: Sabine Wren – SWAG77 RP Fanfic Plan Nav Coordinates

We have been working on an RP fanfic for Sabine Wren since 2014 that should be inline with the official Star Wars current canon. We are not usurping or purporting our AU canon overrides Disney Lucasfilm Star Wars. As the Star Wars Actors Guild 77 (SWAG77), we like to play along with the current canon and add a few tidbits as to why they made confident plot choices. We do not get exclusive secret spy information about Disney Lucasfilm Star Wars plot choices. Instead, we gather evidence through literature reviews and production and actors’ comments and then formulate speculative hypotheses to predict courses of action that we think Disney Lucasfilm Star Wars might take.

For SABINE WREN – our central hypothesis is in THE MANDALORIAN, she will obtain the Darksaber through ritual combat and survive again. We have several pieces of data that support this hypothesis, and we discuss this in the SABINE WREN BLOG and FACEBOOK PAGE that we will not discuss in this post.

The question is, why does she need the Darksaber when she gave it away? We actually have ideas that we discuss on our Discord Server.

Our conflict for this story arc is Rara-avis (Rare bird — get it, she’s a WREN) vs. Duty.

The plot is still being worked out and is discussed on Sabine Wren’s Blog, Facebook Page, and Discord Server.

We suspect the canon exposition of Disney Lucasfilm Star Wars story for SABINE WREN will be in the TV Show: AHSOKA.

We keep this part of the fanfic separate from our shipping preference of THRAWN X SABINE WREN (THRAWN X SABINE WREN). This story’s plot will be revisited over time. We do not ship Ezra with Sabine (ezrabine or sabezra). We do not ship Thrawn except with Sabine. We will not entertain any other ships with those characters until Disney Lucasfilm Star Wars has ruled on this case. We think that only Thrawn can put Sabine on the Mandalorian Throne as the Queen, just like a “King” who gave up his duty as King and decided to become a “Knight” like Sir Lancelot; or like a Knight protects his Queen on a Chiss — err — Chessboard.

FANS: HELP! I don’t know what the canon should be!

Once again, Star Wars fans have appears on the Star Wars Actor’s Guild 77 pages after all the “hate bash pages spewing misinformation” has had their fill ruining the fandom.

We said long ago on this blog that none of these “sites” read and study Star Wars like most RPers do — they just failed Star Wars. And powerful entities, influencers and decision-makers LISTENED to these fools, and ostracized us, mass reporting us to silence us.

We will repeat what we’ve said throughout our SWAG77, when you roleplay (RP) online you are responsible for knowing all your story attributes of your character and class. You need to know both canon AND LEGENDS (Star Wars Expanded Universe: SWEU).

Canon because it gives you direction of the kinds of stories Disney wants to tell.

And LEGENDS because they give you the thematic underlying deeper meanings why the Star Wars story works the way it works.

For example, the importance of HEIR TO THE EMPRE — THRAWN TRILOGY shows how THRAWN emotions while there are no emotions and the logic of the Chiss and the Chiss Ascendancy. But if a fan refuses to read it, then understanding why THRAWN NEVER MET SABINE WREN cannot be examined or understood in STAR WARS REBELS.

Sure, random speculations are one idea to do. But why is THRAWN suddenly wearing burgundy and who are these other burgundy wearing Chiss — one might be surprised exactly who — a fan who refuses to read fails to understand the interconnectedness of canon and Legends Star Wars stories.

We are seeing the same for The Mandalorian.

The sequels were created with obstinate to the fans. As such the last movie, TROS, in story confusion. But, that’s what happens when one fails to understand the underlying overall Star Wars story.

If TROS wanted to tell the story filmed in Star Wars context, the Legends story Splinter In The Mind’s Eye, could have been adapted for film. But, well we know what Abrams did or refused to do.

Reading books should always be encouraged.

Fan art is something to behold, especially when it is in our fandomverse. And attribution is a good thing. It is upon the kindness of the sharing party to provide decent attribution from the shared art. But it is not MANDATORY and DEMANDING IT IS FUCKED UP!

Artists are taking forms they did not create and using their talents to create derivatives with their skill. Their skills COST, and that should be what is important and remunerated and by our group, we respect it. But the final completion of the art of a derivative work that the artist does NOT own the intellectual property license nor has approval from Lucasfilm to create, is NOT — NOT what needs to be attributed by law.

You can go to court to demand copyright, but you don’t own the license. You created the work out of the kindness of your heart. That’s just the final artform work.

THE SKILL OF THE ARTIST IS NOT IN QUESTION HERE!

Should you want Disney Lucasfilm to consider your work as an artist or an author, you have to take the RISK to get your name out there. Do what it takes to get noticed by the fandom. PARTICIPATE IN THEIR ACTIVITIES! NETWORK! Don’t massively bad-mouth Disney Lucasfilm and their products.

Inside tracks and knowing someone on the inside is fine and a plus, but Disney is still a corporate entity that wants professionals in its repertoire. They want professionals to KNOW how to play the game and will not freeze up when it is crunch time. Disney is the big league.

If you are yelling and trolling fans for not attributing your work on social media sites, like Tumblr, then you are pathetic and not in the big leagues. No one stole your work, your game in PROMOTION of your work was sloppy and pathetic in this day and age of social media. So it would behoove you to learn this business, first.

If you are going to POST your work ANYWHERE online before the public eye, then you need a business plan of fandom social media engagement and reaction. Yelling at fans or trolling them is going to get you hated. Trolling is not Fandom.

I am not a visual artist. But I do have an official business license and I know how to work social media well enough to get my work where I need it and with commercial support. And yes, I will ask what’s in it for me because I do business, not placating sensitivities. This is not about someone’s emotional instabilities, this is adulting and there are things I have to do in order to complete my project goals that I have set for my needs in a timely manner.

You want to make friends on social media, join a dating app.

You want to take your art to the big leagues, that’s what I’m all about…

However before Thrawn became a Grand Admiral, he had to care for a small Mandalorian girl whom he was her patron until he lost contact with her from the Imperial Academy on Mandalore. The girl’s name was Sabine Wren and he taught her art and music theory. Their lives suddenly become interwoven into a galaxy replete with art and him tracking her every direction.

Speculative Predictions of #SabineWren in #StarWarsRebels

Sabine Wren in Star Wars Rebels Season 3 will have an exquisite role as she has a new toy in her arsenal against the Empire.

A jetpack. One she has wanted since last season, 2.

Her biggest challenge will be to her “Mandalorian-ness”. Long time fans of hers know she’s a unique type of Fem-Mando who fights for what she is right in the galaxy, and paints art to reflect her form of protest against the Empire. She also is considered “dar’manda” by most Mandalorians because she is a part of Death Watch, a former separated team from the rest of Mandalorians.

In the trailer, we see Fenn Rau tell her he is proud that she remembers his Mandalorian origins and that she has gained his respect.

It appears that Sabine is becoming more of a warrior in of herself. And she is becoming a leader.

But rumor has it that her reasons for obtaining the Darksaber (Pre Vizsla’s laser sword, then Darth Maul’s sword) is one of many reasons she left the Imperial Academy on Mandalore.

She has no family to speak of or what we know of her. It is our group, the Star Wars Actors Guild 77 to NOT believe that Bo-Katan is the mother of Sabine Wren because Sabine is “Desi” or Southeast Indian heritage and Bo-Katan is biracial or monoracial. It would be unfair to the bulk of diverse fans to whitewash Sabine Wren who is an awesome character and has a lot to offer girls of color.

We do think her mother worked with Bo-Katan as a Nite Owl and is with her during the last days of Mandalore. Her mother met another man and they had Sabine Wren together. Then her mother was killed in battle.

We also think that Sabine will be placed in a confounding situation where she will have to chose between that which is the Rebels and that which is her duty to the Empire.

All because of Grand Admiral Thrawn

We wrote a fan-fiction on Thrawn’s interaction with Sabine Wren after the Imperials took over Mandalore. He taught her art, color and music theory. Sabine was his protege. Unfortunately, he was reassigned to the Outer Rim because he was an Alien Imperial Officer. He told her to graduate from the Academy and look for him when she was to be assigned to his fleet.  That never happened. She left the Academy.

Star Wars: Vernissage – The Mandalorian Accords II

At some point she went underground and hid until she encountered Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, Chopper, and Zeb Orrelios. She became Spectre 5 among the Ghost Crew and she was a weapons expert.

Only Captain Thrawn is able to invade and conquer Mandalore to Imperial rule. But he had to serve at a regent for Mandalore before a Moff was selected. What he discovered during his rule, is they Mandalorians, were more creative and inventive that what was let on by the rest of the galaxy. He took one Mandalorian child under his tutelage and taught her art and its interpretation, something forbidden by the Mandalorians and the Chiss, which he was.
